Selection Procedure
  • Public Health/HSA will assign a unique number in their database to all individuals who have been fully vaccinated with HSA (both dose 1 & 2). Anyone who has received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from Public Health/HSA will be automatically entered into the drive.
  • Public Health/HSA will advise DMS how many persons are in their database (i.e.: 50,000).
  • DMS will hold database of entrants from the Referrer Entry Tickets. Public Health/HSA will not have access to this information, as this data will be controlled by DMS.
  • DMS will advise HSA how many referrer tickets have been submitted. This number (i.e.: 400 referrer entrants) will be added to the total number of eligible winners. Note: no information from the referrer tickets will be shared with Public Health/HSA at this stage.
  • DMS will select a number within this range (i.e.: 50,400) using a random number generator.
  • DMS will advise HSA of the random selected number.
  • Public Health/HSA will identify the person assigned to the winning number and check the database to confirm they have received both COVID vaccine doses with HSA. This is only applicable if it is within the number range in the HSA database (i.e.: 1 – 50,000). The following individuals will be present during the number validation: HSA Chief Executive Officer, HSA Chief Nursing Officer & Medical Officer of Health.
  • Public Health/HSA will contact the person via phone number on file and ask if they are willing to be part of the DMS vaccination drive competition.
    • If yes, HSA will verbally ask consent for their name, phone number and email address to be shared with DMS. HSA will then provide the contact details to DMS for them to contact directly to verify their eligibility and confirm them the winner.
    • If no, HSA will advise DMS they do not consent to be part of the contest and request DMS draw another random number.
    • The above selection process will be repeated until a winner giving consent is selected.
    • DMS will allow one week to contact the person selected. Should Public Health/HSA be unable to contact the person, they will notify DMS, and another computer-generated random number will be provided.
Non-eligible persons

DMS Organization employees are not permitted to win.
